Position Overview:

Reporting to the Administration Supervisor, the Info Systems - File Clerk is responsible for implementing the reorganization andsubsequent day-to-day maintenance of file room operations.

Qualifications Desired:

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Good working knowledge and experience in time management and organizational skills.
  • Computer training and experience is essential.
  • Be aware of the cultural environment in which Tikinagan Child and Family Services operates.
  • Must have a valid Ontario driver's license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and/or experience with filing procedures.
  • Knowledge of Child Welfare issues and procedures is an asset.
  • Accurate typing/keyboarding skills.
  • Appropriate educational qualifications and/or equivalent combination of experience and training to manage the tasks and responsibilities of the position.
  • No remote work available.
  • Travel is a requirement.
  • No relocation assistance available.


All successful applicants will require an application for, or a current, Criminal Record Check(CRC). A Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) for those positions working with children will also be required. As such, it is recommended that applicants apply for a CRC & VSC as soon as possible.
