Position Overview:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily personnel functions as well as completing assigned project work. This position will designate/monitor the daily work schedule for the Human Resources Clerks as well as the Human Resources Secretary/Receptionist. As per the direction from Tikinagan's Board of Directors and by Chiefs resolutions, and in order to work in the true spirit of Tikinagan Mamow Obiki-ahwahsoowin Service Model, Tikinagan has been moving services and staff positions to the community level.The direction for the agency is to continue to decentralize staff to the First Nations served by Tikinagan. This position will be based in Sioux Lookout, but will require travel to the northern communities as required.
Qualifications Desired:
All successful applicants will require an application for, or a current, Criminal Record Check(CRC). A Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) for those positions working with children will also be required.
